Gayle Sue Caple, 83 of Benton, passed away on April 13, 2023.  She was born on September 22, 1939 in Benton to the late Marvin and Lilly Ramsey Whitmire. She was retired from the Arkansas Health Center.

Gayle was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Calvin Caple.

She is survived by her son, Dennis (Yvonne) Caple, daughter, Lynette Coolbaugh and grandsons, Jody Caple and Jeffery (Rebekah) Caple, brothers, Jerry Whitmire and Ronnie Whitmire; sisters, Shirley Wright and Jeannie Hobbs.

Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19 ^th with Bro. Kirby Caple officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Alexander.

Visitation will be held at Ashbys, Tuesday, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
