Gayle Sue Wright McKinney, maiden name Stuckey, of Benton, was born December 23rd 1934.  Mom passed away Wednesday January 28, 2025 in Benton Arkansas.  She was 90 years of age at the time of her death.

Mom was the proud mother of four daughters, Janet Wright Alton (Jack Alton deceased), Becky Wright Nelson, Jeanie TJ Wright Melton (Gary Melton), and Jackie Wright Childers (Gary E Childers).

She was one of ten children and is proceeded in death by her mother, Jimmie Stuckey Price and her father George Fox Stuckey; 6 brothers; 2 sisters; and a grandson, Mikal Childers.

Mom is survived by 1 brother, Eddie Stuckey; 6 grandchildren, Amy Stanley Rouse (Randy), Shane Robinson, Barry Robinson (Stephanie), Jessica Childers Johnston (Justin), Garrett Childers (Ashley), and Bethany Childers Gonzales (Joey); 11 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. Her extended family of much loved nieces and nephews were a source of joy in her life.

Mom attended Bauxite High School where she cheered for the Miners.

She was a wonderfully talented home designer and home builder.  Mom was a contractor in Arkansas, Arizona and Washington. Her work and expertise is still enjoyed in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Scottsdale, Flagstaff and Tacoma to mention a few. She was an accomplished artist and seamstress also.

Mom was a role model ahead of her time in many ways. As her children we were inspired by our Mother and the depth of her talents but her love, compassion and giving nature outshined her extraordinary gifts.
