Gregory (Greg) Allen Rankin, age 64 of Benton, went home to be with his heavenly father September 28, 2024. Greg was born in Little Rock, AR.  to Bobby Allen Rankin and Maudie Mae Middleton on June 27,1960.

He graduated from Benton High School in 1978. He loved learning new things and loved helping people especially family and friends so he went back to school and received his LPN license in 2003. After receiving his LPN License he worked in local nursing homes and at Birch Tree Communities. He rededicated his live to the Lord in 1999 and loved sharing his story and  relationship with the Lord  to others. He loved spending time with family and friends and was always cutting up and joking. He loved learning whether it was martial arts, cooking, nutrition or fixing/repairing something he was always researching and studing. He Loved the outdoors and working with his hands. He had a beautiful smile  and a wicked sense of humor. He never met a stranger and tried to always bring a smile or laugh to everyone he met. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Allen Rankin, mother Maudie Mae Garrett, sister, Tamma Purtle.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Rankin (Benton), sisters, Tina Rankin (Little Rock), Tanya Notias (Alexander), Angela Pritchard (Dewayne) (Perry), Brother-in-laws, James Browning (Benton) C. W. Browning (Marvon), ( Springfield, MO).

Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Ashby Funeral Home. Rev. Polly Burton will officiate.
