Harold David Chamblee, age 86, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025.  He was born on August 23, 1938 to Sherman Thomas Chamblee and Hattie Belle Ferguson Chamblee.  Harold was of the Baptist faith and retired from Woodlast Corp.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Sue Buie Chamblee; his parents; great-grandson, L. J. Rollins; and siblings, Sonny Chamblee and Laverne Wheeler.

Harold is survived by his wife of 30 years, Joyce Chamblee of Benton; children, Vicki Sheridan of Little Rock, Tammie Carter (Paul) of Benton, Pattie Hamilton (Chris) of Little Rock, Tim Neldon (Marlene) of Benton, and Michelle Hadlock (Cliff) of Bryant; grandchildren, Michael Chism, Matt Carter (Keely), Jennifer Ruhlman (Chip), Christopher Hamilton (Lindy), Jonathan Hamilton (Amanda), Kimberly Morgan (Michael Walker), Kourtney Higgins (Justin), Amber Shattluck (Robert), Lori Terry (Josh), and Ashlee Rollins (Jonathan); great-grandchildren, Stephanie Noland, Gavin, Talan, & Kason Montgomery, Isabel & Ayla Carter, Carter Ruhlman, Chloe, Balend, Laci, & Fletcher Hamilton, Ian Hamilton, Taylor Walker, Landon, Henley, & Payton Higgins, Avery Snow, Legion & Aidyn Hynson, Lillian & Liam Terry, and Sawyer & Grayson Rollins; and a great-great-grandchild, Kayce Walker.  He is also survived by his siblings, Ernest Chamblee and Geraldine Pennington; sister-in-law, Lois Wright; and numerous other family members.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 7 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville.
