Helen Marie (Linker) Bray, age 67, of Bryant, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2009. She was born August 2, 1941 in Woodson, Arkansas. Mrs. Bray was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Alice Linker; brother, Jesse Linker and a sister, Eva Manley.

She is survived by her husband, James Bray of Maynard; two daughters, Tina Strickland of Little Rock and Renee Diffee of Camden; four step-children; three brothers, Charles Linker of Lake Port, California, James Linker of Russellville and Mike Linker of Alexander; two sisters, Pauline Tophinke of Bowling Green, Missouri and Margie Armstrong of Bauxite; seven grandchildren, Clayton Strickland, Jr. of Little Rock, Brandy Johnson of Little Rock, Amanda Johnson of Sheridan, Jesse James Diffee and Frank James Diffee both of Alexander, Michael Bray of Haskell and Kerri Bray of Greenbrier and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 12 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13 at Woodson Cemetery. Bro. Curtis Kyle will be officiating.
