Henry Lynn Jones, 88 of, Haskell passed away peacefully at home on June 8th 2026 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born January 31, 1938 in Rison Arkansas to the late Rector Henry and Cecil Lynn Cope Jones.

He graduated from Pine Bluff High in 1955. Henry dedicated 35 years of service to NCR. Following retirement he worked in hardware at Arey's and drove a school bus at Harmony Grove School District where he also served as a substitute teacher. He enjoyed wood working, leather working, bee keeping, deer hunting, and was a fixer of all things. Above all Henry cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to his late wife Shirley Callahan for 56 years.

Henry is survived by his children Lisa Ann (Brian) Cotten of Haskell and Greg (Lisa) Jones of Haskell. Grandchildren Melanie (Jeremy) Hall, Michael (Britanie) Cotten, Natalie (Jackson) Coleman, and Macey (Carson) Fite. 5 Great Granddaughters and 1 great grandson on the way.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and four siblings. Those who were blessed to know him knew he was a God fearing man.

He was a dedicated member of Mount Harmony Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, song director, and teacher. He was a loving, kind, and intelligent man whose love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday June 11th at 1:00-2:00pm followed by funeral services at 2:00pm at Ashby Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Mount Harmony Cemetery.
