Obituary

Herman L. Holloway, of Bryant, joined his Heavenly Father on December 18th, two days before his 95th birthday.  Herman was born in Curtis, Arkansas, and went to high school at Magnet Cove, AR.  After serving 3 years in the US Airforce, he returned from Ramstein AFB Germany and started a new career as a husband and father.

Herman worked as a machinist at Alcoa for 35 years.  He is survived by two brothers, 3 children, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Herman was preceded in death by his wife Audrey of 65 years.  Herman and Audrey spent their retirement years entertaining the grand kids. Herman loved to fish and spent a lot of time on Lakes Degray and Ouachita.  The time spent on the lakes and in the back yard with the grand kids established memories that will last a lifetime.

Herman was a life-long member of the Bryant United Methodist Church.  After the passing of his wife, Herman spent the last 8 years living in an assisted facility where he developed an incredible network of friends, both residents and staff.  He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
