Ida Lois Lovell, age 75, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025. She was born on November 25, 1949, in Bauxite, Arkansas, to Mary Inez Jones and Walter Jones.

Ida was the beloved wife of Jimmy Lovell, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. Together they built a life filled with love, faith, and family. She was a devoted wife, sister, stay-at-home mother of three, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a cherished friend to many.

A woman of strong faith, Ida loved the Lord Jesus Christ dearly. Some of her most treasured moments were spent around the table singing hymns with her children and grandchildren. To them, her voice was like that of an angel. She had a heart of gold, a sweet soul, and was always willing to help anyone in need. Ida's love, kindness, and gentle spirit touched all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

Ida was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Inez Jones and Walter Jones, as well as her beloved son, James Paul Lovell.

She is survived by her husband and love of her life, Jimmy Lovell; her children, Robert Lee Lovell, Kathy Lynn Dewberry (Lovell) and son-in-law Robert Dewberry, and daughter-in-law Mary Ruth Lovell (Richardson). She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Leah Addison Lovell, Nichlolus Reed Lovell wife Amanda Lovell, Elizabeth Nacole Crumpler (Dewberry) and husband Samual Crumpler, and Micheal Alvin Dewberry and wife Victoria Dawn Dewberry (Merideth), along with eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will follow on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Fairplay Cemetery.

Ida's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
