James K. "Coco" Colclasure, age 89, of Bryant, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025.  He was born October 25, 1936 in Hickory Plains, Arkansas.  James retired from Union Pacific Railroad after over 40 years.  He was an avid Razorback fan and no matter the sport he cheered on the HOGS.  James loved to go to the horse races and gamble at Oaklawn.  He enjoyed going to McDonalds to visit with his friends and liked to debate about politics.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Lillie Colclasure; his wife, Wanda Colclasure; and two brothers, Danny Colclasure and Charles "Dickie" Colclasure.

James is survived by his children, Sheila Colclasure, Kenny Colclasure (Terri), and Ronny Colclasure (Donna); six grandchildren, Aaron Bratton (Jessica), Kyle Bratton, Michael Colclasure (Haley), Dalton Colclasure, Monica Colclasure, and Laura Unum (Josh); and ten great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Bratton, Keith Squires, Kyle Bratton, Michael Colclasure, Josh Unum, and Robbie Hoffmon. Honorary pallbearers, Ethan Colclasure and Dalton Colclasure.

Family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Mariann Harrington and nurses Angie, Kalen and the staff at Carti in Bryant.

Funeral services will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday, December 27 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.  Aaron Bratton will be officiating.
