James "Jimmy" Freeman Wright, age 66, of Alexander, passed away Tuesday August 6, 2024.  He was born July 7, 1958 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Jimmy attended Geyer Springs Baptist Church & The Church at Benton and retired as an Auto Service Advisor.  He was an avid hunter and motorcycle rider.  Jimmy could fix anything!!

He is preceded in death by his father, James Freeman Wright; brother, Andy Wright; and a sister, Karen (KK) Barnes.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Judy Reeder Wright; daughter, Lizzy Powell and husband Shane; parents, LouAnn & Johnny Hopkins; beloved granddaughter that was the apple of his eye, Paxtyn Rae; sister-in-law, Joan Ramsay and husband Pat; brother-in-law, Bennie Martin; and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.

Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 10 at Ashby Funeral Home with services beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Tull.  Pastor Jordan Hunter will be officiating.
