In loving memory of James L. Taylor, 78 of Bryant, Arkansas who passed away on August 29, 2023. James was a devoted family member and cherished friend. He had a deep passion for hunting, fishing, horse racing, casino's, and an avid poker, domino and snooker player. Anyone who knew him and came to visit at deer camp, Lake DeGray or his home knew they were about to experience continuous jokes and stories. He was a quick wit songwriter that kept his grand children giggling and entertained at any camp fire. When he was able, you would find him in the stands at ball parks cheering on his great grandchildren. He was retired from Reynolds Metal in Bauxite and later became an Electrician.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Louis and Earnestine Taylor, brother Tony Taylor, son Brian Wilmoth and daughter Suzy Wilmoth.

Survivors include his devoted wife Wanda, son Jammie Taylor of Little Rock, daughter Tammy Bridges (Dale) of Bauxite, daughter Tina Taylor Williams of Little Rock, sisters Diane Clark (Gene) and Pasty Turbyfll of Paron. He had 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2nd at McPherson Cemetery in Benton with Bro. Davy McCool officiating.

Visitation will be at Ashbys on Friday, September 1st, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
