Jeffrey Wayne Oliver, 65 of Benton, Arkansas, passed away on the 2nd day of August 2023.  Jeffrey was born on the 16th day of June 1958 to Millard E. Oliver, Sr., and Mary V. Oliver in San Diego, California.  After Jeffrey graduated from Fordyce High School in 1976, he attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.  While attending school there, he met the love of his life, Brenda Sue, in September 1977.

They would have celebrated their forty-fifth wedding anniversary on the 11 day of August 2023.  They were blessed with three amazing daughters, Aime, Susan, and Lil.  As a family, they were always doing things together with one of their fondest memories being spending late nights at the dirt track.

Jeffrey joined the United States Navy in 1979 serving his country for eight years in the Nuclear Power Program and a Hospital Corpsman.  Jeffrey was a 1987 graduate of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Il., earning a degree in Health Care Management.  After graduation, he became a Nursing Home Administrator.  Jeffrey continued his education and graduated from the University of Arkansas Medical Science with a B.S.N. in Nursing.  Over the past seven years, he has devoted himself as a Clinical Quality and Value Analyst at Arkansas Health Group and Practice Plus. He excelled at this position due to his passion for providing quality healthcare to patients at Baptist Health Medical Center.

Jeffrey was a self-taught expert on Hot Wheels and used that knowledge to establish a vast collection of them.  He had a love for all sports and was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks and San Diego Padres fan.  Jeffrey also did extensive research on gardening and developed an elaborate garden in his backyard that yielded the most amazing vegetables, including corn with googly eyes.  Jeffrey was an outdoor enthusiast that included camping and fishing.  He would oversee a yearly camping trip that included all of his grandchildren.  He had a love for photography and amassed an enormous collection of pictures of birds in all degrees of flight.  Jeffrey was always excellent at developing slide shows for the family.  He will always be remembered for his progressive rummy skills and his vast knowledge of useful trivia.  He is a member of the Northside Church of Christ in Benton, Arkansas, always following his strong Christian beliefs and his unwavering faith.

Jeffrey's biggest love was for his family.  He is proceeded in death by his parents, Millard E. Oliver, Sr., and Mary V. Oliver, brothers, Michael, Dennis, and a very special grandmother, Dora O'Banion; in laws, John and Shirley May and brother in law, Richard May.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Brenda Sue Oliver, three children, Aime Lyn (Clint) Griffin, Susan Rene (Stewart) Haug, Elizabeth Grace (Justin) Cornish, fifteen grandchildren, Ashten, Payton, Lauryn, Haleigh, Lilly, Emily, Easton, Carson, Gracelyn, Hanna, Jarrett, Oliver, Gabe, Noah, Brady; three sisters, Diane, Lisa (Jamie), Deborah (Pat), brothers, Butch, Ronnie and extended family members, Vicky, Jaime and John.  Jeffrey is also survived by Willah, Pete, and Michelangelo.

Visitation at Ashby Funeral Home will be on Saturday, August 5th at 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 6th at Northside Church of Christ at 2:00 p.m.

Jeffrey will be dearly missed by anyone who knew him, and especially by the ones that loved him.  He will be thought of with joy because of the light he brought into our lives.  Jeffrey Oliver will be missed every day until we see him again.
