Jimmie Roy Turner joined his heavenly family on September 14, 2024.  He was a resident of Arkansas Health Center, Cedar Court.

Jimmie was born February 25, 1947, in St. Louis. He attended Roosevelt and Hancock Place High Schools.  After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served for over a decade.  Jimmie then located to Memphis working for various companies.  Later, he became a Licensed Practical Nurse in Arkansas. Jimmie was a loving caregiver to his parents after they retired to Lake City.

He loved singing at church gatherings, and he was a huge Cardinals baseball fan.  He was 77.

Survived by brothers Dennis (Patricia), Larry (Eileen), niece Julie (Thomas), nephews Mark and Alex.  Plus, many cousins. Preceded in death by his Mother Atrell (Thornell) Turner and Father Jimmie J Turner.
