Jimmy Wayne King age 85, of Bauxite, passed away surrounded by his family on April 1, 2025. He was born in Gould, Arkansas on September 11, 1939 to James and Mildred King. Jimmy was a graduate of Greenwood High School and the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He was a retired postmaster with 35 years of service. Jimmy was a U S Army Veteran, a Mason and served on several boards at Parkview Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia King, son, Terry King (Tammy) of Star City and daughter Karen Ferguson (Tim) of Hermitage, Arkansas, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18 at 1:00 PM at Parkview Methodist Church. Visitation will follow.
