Jimmy Ray McDougal, 84, of Benton, passed to glory on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.  He was born July 23, 1940 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to the late Ray and Lorene Hammond McDougal.  Jimmy attended the Missionary Baptist Seminary for 4 ½ years earning a Bachelor of Bible Languages.  He was a Missionary Baptist Minister from November 5, 1967 to 2011.  Jimmy pastored in Arkansas, Texas, and North Carolina.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda; daughter, Rebekah (Casey) Rogers; granddaughter, Charlee Rogers; two sisters, Carolyn Yánt and Peggy (Ian) Elliott; and a brother, Tommy McDougal.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
