Johnnie "Paula" Mansfield, 80, of Benton, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on June 20, 2024. She was born on August 3, 1943 in Newark, Arkansas to Paul Stephens and James Ruby McClure.

She was a loving Wife, Sister, Mom, Nanny, and friend to many. Paula knew and loved the Lord and was a faithful member of East Smith Street Church of Christ in Benton. Her Christian values informed every aspect of her life and molded her into the beloved person she was. She married her high school sweetheart, Paul, in 1961. Paula was a devoted and supportive spouse in all of her husband's career endeavors and hobby interests, including the Central Arkansas Dutch Oven Group. She was a small package of dynamite at 4'10'' and stayed busy raising their three boys, Johnny, Jerry, and Ronnie. They were her pride and joy. She was a hairdresser for several years. Paula had a 30 year career in the floral business, beginning with working at Bill's Flower Shop and eventually owning her own shop in Benton called Touch O' Country Flowers and Gifts. She worked at the Saline County Assessor Office for 15 years. She enjoyed large family get togethers in her 970 square foot home. Her favorite role was that of a grandmother. We couldn't have asked for a better Nanny, and we will miss her every day. Paula had a dog named Lucky who was a valuable family member that kept her company. We will always imagine hearing her say, "Nanny loves you." She will be remembered most by how much she loved the Lord, loved her family, and cared for others.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents (Paul and Ruby McClure), her husband (Paul Mansfield), and her son (Ronnie Mansfield).

Left to cherish her memory are her sons Johnny (Anna Beth) Mansfield and Jerry (Becky) Mansfield both of Bryant, brothers Bud and Scooter McClure, sister Rita Lasage, 6 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 10:00 AM Monday, June 24 at Ashby Funeral Home with service following at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at New Rosemont Cemetery in Benton.
