Johnnie B. Smith, of Haskell was born March 4th1930, in Benton AR, passed away on March15, 2025 at the age of 95.

A 1947 Graduate of Harmony Grove, Johnnie worked for Western Union before joining the Army and serving 1952-1954. He worked at Alcoa from 1954 until he retired in 1992, after 38 years.

Johnnie was a man who lived his life putting others first. He was always quick to help family and friends. He loved fishing and spent his free time and many years of retirement fishing with MaryAnn and friends in Lakeview AR on the White River.  His memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends.

He was a devoted husband of 71 years to his wife Mary Ann Smith, a loving father to Randy Smith (Dana) of Tull, Cindy Boykin of Haskell and Angela Smith (Arby) of Little Rock and a proud grandfather to Scott Smith, Adam Longstreth, Cody Smith, Alicia Boykin, Layden Smith & Jett Smith. Great grandfather to Lexi Smith, Jasmine Smith, Kylynn Jones, and James Smith.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Pine Crest Cemetery. Following the service, the family can be visited at 2:30 at the home of Johnnie & MaryAnn. Arrangements are made by Ashby's Funeral Home.
