Joyce Athlene Lobbs, age 85, of Benton, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023.  She was born June 2, 1938 in Heber Springs, Arkansas.  Joyce retired from Bauxite High School and was a member of Mars Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmore & Eldean Turner; husband, Delbert Lobbs; daughter, Debra Whitfield; and a brother, Edward Turner.

Joyce is survived by her sister, Judy Garner; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 28 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 29 at Mars Hill Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Mars Hill Cemetery.  Bro. Charlie Woods will be officiating.
