Joyce Mae Roberts, age 75, of Alexander, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026 surrounded by family. She was born March 7, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Joyce was a counselor for The Diet Center for many years, but found joy in stocking her flea-market booths in her later years. A sincere follower of Jesus Christ, she was a member of Family Church Bryant for 36 years. Her church family meant a great deal to her.

She was a great cook and loved to bake lots of sweets. Joyce also loved flea-markets, yard sales, animals and especially her kitties.

Her family was her life and she loved them dearly. Sundays were very special to Joyce; all the family would go to church and then spend the rest of the day playing card games, eating, relaxing, and enjoying each other's company.

Joyce had standing weekly lunch dates for many years with her brother and two sisters, usually at Cracker Barrel on Mondays and Larry's Pizza on Thursdays. She will be greatly missed by many.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Grady Long and Hazel Elizabeth Long and two sisters, Cathy Salinas and Betty Phillips.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William Roberts; son, Kevin Roberts; daughter, Mechelle Hendrix (Rob); brother, Sonny Long (Analeta); granddaughter, Jamie Montgomery (lain); and two great-grandchildren, Winston and Sloan Montgomery.

A celebration of her life will be held 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 6 at Family Church Bryant.
