Julia Nell Fooks, age73, of Benton passed away on Monday, April 22, 2023. She was born July 11, 1949 in Little Rock. Julia was a retired RN at the Arkansas Health Center and a member of Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church. Julia was preceded in death by her parents, R. C. Newcomb and Floy Dell Wilmoth Newcomb, husband, George Fooks.

Survivors, son and daughter-in-law, Sam (Kim) Fooks, daughter and son-in-law, Beth (David) Montgomery, brothers, Mickey (Otta), Newcomb, Jeff (Kris) Newcomb, sister, Sherry (Randy) Green, grandchildren, Jesse Montgomery, Aubry Montgomery, Colt Montgomery, Rique Montgomery, Rico Montgomery, Sofia Montgomery, Kash Edwards Montgomery, Samantha Pierce, and David Pierce.

Graveside services by Ashby Funeral Home, will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Graham Cemetery. Minister will be Bro Robbie Horne.
