Karen Elaine Smith age 67, of Benton passed away Friday, September 18, 2026. She was born December 12, 1958 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Karen was an Elementary School Teacher at Salem Elementary School and was a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Dale Willhite and Betty Miller Willhite.

Survivors, husband, Brett Smith, daughter, Lilly Lynn Smith, brother, John Willhite, sister, Debbie Wood, one grandson, Ryan M. Smith.

A memorial service will held at a later date.
