Kimela Ann
Hardin
Mar 10, 1957 — Jul 30, 2024
Searcy
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kimela Ann Hardin on July 30th 2024. She was born on March 10th 1957 in Marshall, Texas to Jerry L. Moore and Joyce Juanita Moore (Surratt).
Kim grew up in Searcy, AR where she graduated from Searcy High School in 1975. After graduation, she attended Ouachita Baptist University. She became a Certified Court Reporter and spent the last 35 years working in courts across the state of Arkansas. She loved her career and everyone she met through her work. In her spare time, Kim loved to work in the yard, spend time at the lake, do any type of craft project, and repurpose antique furniture. Over the last 15 years, she made her hobby of paint and antique furniture into a small business that she loved so much. If you knew Kim, you know she never met a stranger. She was always making new friends, talking someone's ear off, and making everyone laugh around her.
She is survived in death by her daughter, Shelby Hardin, of Little Rock, niece, Amanda Talley (Justin) of Searcy, nephew, Mitchelle Moore of Batesville, four great nephews, Wade, Caleb, River and Beau all of Searcy, and many other loving family and friends.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe Kelly Hardin, son, Hunter Hardin, and brother, Stephen Moore.
Thank you to all the wonderful staff of Summit Hospice in Searcy, Arkansas and the Blossoms at Cumberland in Little Rock for the wonderful care and support.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at Ashby's.
