It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kristen Whorton, age 39, who left us on September 1, 2025. Kristen was a vibrant soul, known for her fun-loving and free-spirited nature. She embraced life on her own terms, bringing joy and laughter to everyone around her.

Kristen is survived by her loving father, D.J. Whorton (Amy)of Malvern, AR, as well as her older brother Justin (April) of Cabot, AR, and younger brother Brandon (Brittany) of Arlington, MN. She was a devoted mother to her two cherished children, Lexi and Dakota, who were the light of her life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Hanshaw, who will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Kristen's spirit will continue to live on through her children and the memories she created with family and friends. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Kristen's life will be held September 5th. Visitation at 3 p.m. and Service at 4 p.m. at Reyburn Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Glenrose, Arkansas.
