Linda Besancon departed this life May 28, 2025. She was born May 26, 1947 in Benton, Arkansas to Delton Daniel "Dan" and Levicia Allene Glover. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jimmy Wayne Glover and Dale Allen Glover; and one nephew Terry Lane Ray.

Linda is survived by her son Jeff Besancon and his wife De Lane; three grandchildren, Dakota Besancon, Trenton Besancon, Somer Kean (Jason); one great-granddaughter Chloe McGehee; one sister Doris Ray; two nieces, Sonja Davis and Vanessa Wilson; along with a host of other family and friends.

Linda was born and raised on a farm in the Salem Community of Saline County and graduated from Bryant High School. She worked many years at Rose Law Firm as a paralegal before retiring from Williams & Anderson PLC.

Linda loved anything and everything that sparkled. She greatly enjoyed traveling, especially visiting the beach in Mexico and living on the lake in her retirement years. She enjoyed spending time at the Benton Senior Citizens Center and having fun at the casino. Most of all, Linda was a loving and doting mom and grandma who most looked forward to spending time with her family and friends.

Linda loved her family deeply and would not want them to feel pain from her departure, but instead would hope they find comfort in knowing she was blessed to have lived a full life and as a lifelong Baptist, was at peace with entering the arms of her Lord.

Memorial services are to be held at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton on Wednesday, June 4. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m., with the funeral beginning at 2:00 p.m. followed by a brief graveside service at Scott Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Ray, Mickey Maroney, Justin Sturch, Brad Besancon, Dale Ryan, and Bob Wilson.
