Linda Elizabeth Coker Gentry ("Linna"), age 78, of Benton, Arkansas, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 26, 2025. Born on January 16, 1947, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Linda was the beloved daughter of Willie Lawrence Coker and Mary Mae Curtis Coker, both of whom preceded her in death. She is also reunited in heaven with her husband and best friend of 52 years, William H. Gentry.

Linda grew up as the first and only grandchild in her family for seven years, doted on by her Aunt Nina, uncles Hulon, Lindy, and James, and her grandparents, Charles and Letha Curtis. Her grandparents, in particular, taught her the value of loving unconditionally-a lesson she carried with her throughout her life. When her sister-cousin Jeanie and other cousins came along, Linda became a cherished role model within her family.

Her greatest pride was her family. Linda's marriage to Bill was a testament to love and devotion, and together they raised their son, Marc, whom Linda adored. When she became a grandmother, her grandchildren, Griffyn and Ranan, became her biggest joy. She loved celebrating their milestones and sharing stories of their accomplishments.

Linda was a talented and passionate interior decorator who ran a successful business, bringing bold colors and creative vision to every project she touched. Whether small jobs or large events, Linda's work made the world more beautiful, one space at a time.

Beyond her professional life, Linda loved spending time with Bill, especially at the horse races at Oaklawn, where they shared countless happy moments. The couple also enjoyed traveling with friends, exploring destinations across Europe, Israel, and Egypt. Linda's stories of their adventures reflected her fun-loving, adventurous spirit and her appreciation for life. Faith played a central role in Linda's life. As an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Bryant, she devoted herself to serving others through the Altar Guild, prayer teams, and hospital visitation. She found joy in preparing the church for services, always creating a welcoming and beautiful space for worship. Linda never hesitated to pray for or with anyone in need.

Linda's warmth, creativity, and humor touched everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and a sense of style that will forever be remembered. Though she will be dearly missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her loved ones, likely celebrating in heaven with guacamole and red jelly beans on the menu.

Linda is survived by her son, Marc, and her treasured grandchildren, Griffyn and Ranan. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who were blessed to share in her life.

Funeral services will be held on Friday January 31st @2pm at The First United Methodist Church of Bryant, where all who loved Linda are invited to celebrate her remarkable life.
