Linda Gayle Collatt, age 83, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away on May 26, 2024. She was born on January 3, 1941, in Levy, Arkansas to Elbert and Jewel Neighbors Cates. Linda was a dedicated LPN at Benton Services Center for 36 years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, where she found solace and community. In her free time Linda enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play football, baseball, and soccer, as well as watching the Razorbacks. She also enjoyed the horse races at Oaklawn Park and travelling with friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Jewel Cates, her husband, James "Jimmy" Collatt, her stepson, Robert Collatt, and her half-sister, Imogene Hendrix.

Her three surviving children are Jerri Steele (Dane) of San Antonio, Tx., Michael Magby (Steve) of Dermott, Ar., and Brad Collatt of Greenbrier, Ar. Her grandchildren are Kaleb and Hunter Steele, Casey Collatt Procop, Lola Simmons, Maya Johnson, Memory Oseguera, Keaton Collatt, Karson Collatt, and Stevie Beth Collatt. Her great grandsons are Benjamin and Forest Oseguera.

Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 30 at Ashby Funeral Home with a service to honor and celebrate Linda's life beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Rosemont Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jeff Bryant, Chuck Voan, Wade Goodwin, Clay Goodwin, Kaleb Steele, Hunter Steele, Keaton Collatt, Karson Collatt, Griffin Revis, Grayson Revis, and Rhett Tracy. Ashby Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements
