Linda Marlene Pelton, 76, of Benton, AR, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Dec 12, 2025. She was born on June 7, 1949 in Benton, AR to Ralph and Melba Puckett.

Linda was the best wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend to everyone she met.

Linda retired from Baptist Health in Little Rock, AR. She was known for her love of all animals. She enjoyed riding horses, playing racquetball, watching her birds, growing flowers and spending time with her family.

Linda was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Alexander, AR.

She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Puckett, mother Melba Puckett, her sisters Delores Hudspeth, and Joyce Babbs. Also her beloved horse Dixie and her best pup Hoss, and many animals before those!

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Rusty Pelton, her brother Ralph Puckett (Vicki), her children, Tarina Bennett (Wes), David Deutscher (Kimberly), and Stefanie Oates (Chase), 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and her dear friends Cheri Prickett, Cathy Hayre, Carla Hill, Vanessa Wilson and so many countless extended family and friends.

Her visitation will be Wednesday, Dec 17, 2025, at 12:00pm to 1:00 pm with services starting at 1:00 pm at New Life Baptist Church,10765 Samples Rd in Alexander AR 72002.

There will be a short graveside memorial after services at Pipkin Cemetery.
