Margaret Britt Gremillion 96 of Little Rock, passed away November 29, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, William I. Britt and Helen Morris Britt; brother, Major Wayne I. Britt and her husband of 65 years, Dr. Alcuin F. Gremillion,  Professor of Chemistry at UALR. She is survived by three daughters; Helen G. Plummer (Bob) of Little Rock, Cynthia (Britt) Gremillion (Andrew) and daughter Rachel Alderman of Fayetteville Ar. and Elizabeth Marie Ballard Camacho (Vic) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and a lifelong friend, Carole Woodall of Little Rock, Ar.

Margaret was reared and educated in New Orleans, La. She graduated with a B.S. degree from La. State University in Baton Rouge. Margaret attended the University of Houston for additional graduate hours in education, completing her final studies at U.C.A. Conway with a Master's Degree in Education and A0.dministration. Her teaching experiences covered schools in Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas; in Little Rock, Arkansas, She taught at the Anthony School and Brady Elementary and then became the Principle of Jefferson Elementary for eleven years.  Following Jefferson, she was promoted to the Assistant Supertendent position in Little Rock in which she remained until her retirement in 2000.

Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be on Monday, December 4th at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Kim Hammer officiating.  Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery in Benton, Arkansas.
