It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marilyn Sue (Carlock) Sanders, who passed away Thursday evening, March 26, 2026, at the age of 68.  Marilyn was born on August 31, 1957, to James William Carlock and Helen Lou Dean.

She is preceded in death by her parents James William Carlock and Helen Lou Carlock and sister, Elizabeth Cearley.

She is survived by her sons, Glyn Faulkner (Heather) of Bryant, Arkansas and Nathan Bryant (Danielle) of Citrus Springs, Florida. Her grandsons Brad Faulkner (Madilyn) of Callaway, Florida, Jordon Faulkner, Zachary Faulkner of Bryant, Arkansas and Silas Bryant of Citrus Springs, Florida. One great granddaughter Magnolia Grace Faulkner of Callaway, Florida. She is also survived by her siblings, Carolyn Brosius (Tom) of Dallas, Texas, Debbie Smith of Bryant, Arkansas and James Carlock of Bryant, Arkansas. Along with a host of nieces and nephews. Marilyn was a kind and caring person who truly loved people. She found great joy in spending time with others, especially her friends at her community group. She also had a deep love for music and animals, which brought her happiness and comfort throughout her life. Her warmth, friendliness, and genuine heart made her someone others were naturally drawn to, and she formed many meaningful friendships along the way.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family will forever cherish the memories they shared with her and the love she gave so freely.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, April, 3, 2026 at Fairplay Cemetery, 12213 Dawson Road, Benton, Arkansas.
