Marilyn Diane Parr, age 71, of Benton, passed away on April 28, 2024.  She was born July 21, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and raised by John & Nell Gibbs.  Marilyn grew up in Harrison, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald N. Parr; his mother, Hilda Parr; her brother, Billy; and a granddaughter, Kylie Parr.

Marilyn is survived by her sister, Charlette; two sons, Tim Parr (Tabatha) and Ray Parr (Patricia); her seven grandchildren, Andria, Alex, Marcus, Kayden, Nathan, Natalie, and Noah; and her four great-grandchildren, Eli, Gabe, Emma, and Myles.

Pallbearers will be Eric Elmore, Tylor Cooper, John Smith, Jesse Niccum, Marcus Parr, Rocky Perez, and Alex Parr.

Visitation will be 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 5 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 6 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.  Pastor Larry Daniel will be officiating.
