Marion (Barney) Barnett, 82, of Benton, passed away On September 10, 2023.  He was born in Benton, Arkansas on April 28, 1941.  Barney was a licensed Master Electrician and employed at Alcoa for 35 years.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  Barney was the "go to guy" who could build, make, or repair anything with his hands.  He was an avid fisherman & loved hunting but most of all he loved his wife and his family.  He will be missed by all that loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Ruby Dougan Barnett; his first wife, Jean; and a son-in-law, Tommy Caudle.

Barney is survived by his wife Patricia Ann Barnett of 43 years for whom he would say to family & friends "I love this woman so much"; daughter, Deborah Flowers (husband Matt Flowers); son, Dennis Evans (wife Kali Evans); daughter, Chris Caudle; daughter, Jerri Wright (husband Allen Wright); brother, Wesley Barnett (wife Mary Ann Barnett); grandchildren, Jennifer Wylie, Nicole Flowers, Jonathan Reynolds, Myles Brinkley, Evan Wengert, Parker Evans, Abby Evans, Connor Evans, Tabitha Tran, Hollie Wright, and Natalie Wright; great-grandchildren, McKenna Wright, Brintlee Wylie, Lane Wylie, Atlas Tran, Orion Tran, and Dom Tran; he loved & was a brother to all his sisters-in-law, Janice, Eddie, Barbara and Linda.  He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Reynolds, Michael Barnett, Parker Evans, Evan Wengert, Bo Tabor, and Myles Brinkley.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 14 at Pinecrest Memorial Park with Bro. Scott Patton officiating.  There will be an open visitation at Ashby Funeral Home.
