Marjorie Lucille Stisher Bennett, age 87, of Bryant; passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023.  She was born April 6, 1936 in Holly Pond, Alabama.  Marjorie retired from UAMS and was a member of Bryant First United Methodist Church.  She was a member of the Orchids Society and a lifetime member of the Master Gardner's.  She loved traveling, shopping, golf, and especially playing bridge with her friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Hubert Stisher; mother, Grace Tanner Stisher Winkle; and her husband, William "Bill" Bennett Jr.

Marjorie is survived by three sons, Bart Bennett and wife Leslie (who was her caregiver), William Bennett III and wife Jeana, and Michael Bennett and wife Libby; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m. Monday, September 11 at Bryant First United Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 14 at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama.
