Martha Ann McCool Greene, age 87, of Benton, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025.  She was born October 5, 1938 in Bauxite, Arkansas.  Martha was retired from S.W. Bell Telephone.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Benton and the Dixie Squares Square Dancing Club.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Clinton McCool & Bessie Blanche Rogers McCool; two brothers, Henry McCool and Bill McCool (Mary); and a sister, Mary Grady (Jim).

Martha is survived by her husband of 70 years, Charles T. Greene; two daughters, Cheryl Schilb (Rusty) and Amy Begbie; six grandchildren, Jesse Toon, Julie Toon, Natalie Patton (Travis), Joey Santoro, Jon-Michael Harper (Tiffany), and Luke Begbie; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 28 at Ashby Funeral Home with services beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
