Mary Sue Fortner, age 87, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023.  She was born January 26, 1936 in Benton, Arkansas to the late Jay Lee & Osie Elvy Dunn.  Mary Sue was a homemaker and a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cletis Fortner; and siblings, Douglas Dunn, Jetty Goins, Helene Payne, Sadie Fortner, and Diane Himes.

Mary Sue is survived by two sons, Randy Fortner (Virginia) and Todd Fortner (Kelly); sister, Sherry Moore; four grandchildren, Cody Fortner (Emily), Kyle Fortner, Adam Meek, and GraceAnne Fortner; and two great-grandchildren, Lily Sue Fortner and Baby Cletis.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Shepard, Greg Shell, Steven Shell, Mark Culpepper, Cody Fortner, and Kyle Fortner.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 5 at Gravel Hill Baptist Church with burial at Gravel Hill Cemetery.  Bro. Gary Gipson will be officiating.
