Mary Katherine "Kathy" Cochran, age 73 of Benton, passed away on Wednesday, august 23, 2023. She was born on October 8, 1949 in Saline County, Arkansas. Kathy obtained an Associate's Degree in Nursing

and worked on the Burn/Trauma Unit at UAMS for many years. She also served as a Home Health Nurse, a Colonoscopy Nurse, and a Case Coordination Nurse.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William McKinley and

Marilee Fletcher Malloy, her husband of 51 years, Jackie Lee Cochran, two brothers, John Ricard Malloy, and Mickey Ray Malloy, there sisters,  Billie Lee Davenport, Jerry Lou Ferrell, Patricia Ann Morehead, three nieces, Sandra Blamberg, Cheryl Lynn Raper, Karen Peter son, one nephew, Danny Brian "DB" Cochran.

Kathy is survived in death by her daughter, Amber Leann Cochran (and husband, Joshua R. Cochran) and son Michael Ray Cochran, five grandchildren, Ruthie Cochran, Zeke Cochran, and Gabe Cochran, Kayleigh Sibole and Jacob Littleton. She is also survived by her brother, Russell Malloy, sisters, Jackie Yelverton and Barbara Raper; many friends and nieces and nephews who also called her "Mom."

Cremation services are by Ashby Funeral Home in Benton.
