Michele (Shelly) Whatley Stone, 70, of Mt. View, Arkansas; gained her wings and heavenly body on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.  She was born on October 12, 1955 in Benton Arkansas to Horace and Shirley Sadler Whatley.

She is survived by her, daughter, Marlie Stuckey Foster and partner James Shreves; three grandsons, Jacob (Lauren) Foster, Austin (Heather) Foster, and Jayden (Olivia) Foster; seven great-grandchildren, Eli, Ella, Shane, Ean, Blake, Winona, and Leah Foster; two brothers, Keith (Jean) Whatley and Gary (Joyce) Whatley; sister Diana (Brian) Keaton; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by far too many to list and she loved them all dearly.

Shelly met a lot of people along her many walks of life and each one held a special place in her heart. She had a contagious laugh, a loving heart and was always there with a listening ear.

She played the roll Mother, Sister, Aunt, Meme and Friend to many. She was loved by us all and we will miss her terribly.

A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Ashby Funeral Home on Saturday, February 7th at 10:00 AM.
