Michelle Lawley, 49, of Verbena, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at her residence.  She was born in Shelby, Alabama on January 20, 1974 to Martha Lawley and William Carl Lawley.  Michelle grew up in Alabaster, Alabama where she went to Thompson High School.  Her favorite activities were fishing, sitting outside & drinking her coffee, loved to entertain her family, and most of all she loved her grandchildren.  Michelle loved talking to her daughter every day, loved Jesus, and loved the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her father, William Carl Lawley and her grandparents, Clyde and Mable McGee.

Michelle is survived by her mother, Martha Lawley; sisters, Paula Reliford and Cindy Lawley; daughter, Asia Spurr of Bryant; sons, Dewayne Latham and Nich Taff both of Clanton, Alabama; her longtime partner, Mark Clecker and his daughter, Candace Leigh Clecker; a host of nieces & nephews which include Bella, Alyssa, Jesslynn, Layla, Xavier, Carter, & Liam Parker Clecker, Angela Lawley, Virginia Alcerro Lawley (Francisco Alcerro), and Tiffany Lawley; along with all her aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cremation services were through Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, Alabama.
