Murl Darren Alsup, age 59, of Sheridan, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024.  He was born March 2, 1965 in Chalmette, Louisiana.  Darren was a U. S. Army Veteran and a business manager.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Murl Raymon Alsup Sr & Oletta Sharp Alsup and several brothers & sisters.

Darren is survived by five brothers, John Alsup, Robert Alsup, James Alsup, David Alsup, and Tom Carder; and four sisters, Anita Williams, Cindy Gross, Michele Mattei, and Nan Barlow.  He was beloved by many nieces & nephews.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 2 at Ashby Funeral Home.  Pastor Joseph Scott will be officiating.
