Myron Wayne Welch Sr., age 67, of Benton passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023. He was born August 14, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Myron worked for first Electric as a Field Designer for 15 years and a member of the New Hope Nazarene Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Welch and Anadel Humphries Welch, brother, Tony Welch.

Myron's hobbies were fishing, boating, traveling, shooting firearms, and he was a professional piddler. His favorite memories are the holidays he spent with the family, his greatest life lessons were loving the Lord, and his most treasured accomplishment was working for First Electric.

Survivors, wife of 49 years, Kathy Ann Welch. Kathy and Myron were married on April 15, 1974 in Kirksville, Missouri; sons, Myron Welch Jr., Cameron Welch, daughter, Lisa McGehee, brothers, John Harley Welch and Zane Welch, three grandchildren, Brandon Kane, Ethan Welch, and Isabell Davis, one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Ashby's.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Fairplay Cemetery. Minister will be bro. George Yarberry.
