Owen Kim Crompton, age 51, of Benton, Arkansas, met his Savior Wednesday, February 28, 2024. He was born on January 31, 1973, in Emerald, Queensland, Australia. His profound love, character, and big hugs will be missed by his greatest loves- wife, Michelle, daughter, Syvette, daughter Autumn (Tallant) and husband Daniel Griffin of Arlington, Texas, and son, Aaron Tallant and fiance` Cassie Billiot and two grandchildren Cole and Dani Tallant of Thibodaux, Louisiana, Father and Mother-in-Law Terry and Diana DeHarte of McCall Creek, Mississippi and Sister-in-Law Amanda (DeHarte) and Blair Stevens and children Elijah McCue and Lauren McCue of Thibodaux, Louisiana.

He also leaves behind his loving parents Bill and Rhonda Bartrum of Townsville, Queensland, Australia, four brothers- Jody Bartrum and Paul Bartrum, also from Townsville, Derek and wife Helen Bartrum and children Anya and Toby of Hampshire, England, and Raymond and wife, Jessica Bartrum and children Matthew and Sailor of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia as well as so many other friends and loved ones.

Owen was a devoted husband and loving father. He brought honor and glory to God by worshiping together with his family every Sunday at Sharon Baptist Church in Benton, Arkansas. In the summer of 2023, Owen accepted Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior, was saved by grace through faith and was baptized. His larger than life personality, huge heart, Aussie accent, quick wit and adventurous story-telling captivated the hearts of anyone who met him.

Owen worked over 30 years in the hospitality industry, taking care of others and ensuring the highest quality experience. He loved to travel, cook, and spend time with family and friends, and rarely met a stranger.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 2:00p.m. at Sharon Baptist Church of Benton located at 402 Shenandoah Road, Benton, Arkansas 72019.
