Patrecia Ayleen Johnston Butts, age 79, of Traskwood, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023.  She was born January 24, 1944 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Patrecia was a retired government agency employee.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Hardy Johnston & Edna Leatha Sims Johnston; her husband of 52 years, Joseph Lambert Butts; daughter, Carrie Leanne Francis; brother, Louis Johnston; and four sisters, Carolyn Edwards, Joe Ann Beard, Donna Sue Grissom, and Flora Mae Zini.

Patrecia is survived by her son, Captain Wesley Joe Butts, USAF (Ret.) and his wife Sandi Kay; brother, Tommy Johnston and his wife Mona; two grandchildren, Anthony Joseph (AJ) Francis and Julia Michelle (MeMe) Francis; and other family & friends in the U.S. and Australia whose lives she touched in a selfless & loving way.

Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 2 at Ashby Funeral Home with services beginning at 2:00 p.m.
