Patricia "Pat" Ann Rice 77, of Benton AR passed away on May 6, 2024 in Benton AR surrounded by her loved ones. She was born January 25, 1947 in Benton.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jewel Ellis Buffington Jr. and Maybelle Langley Reese, one brother Ronnie Buffington, three sisters Brenda Johnson, Lois Ables, Darlene Rhodes, and a niece Hollie Bentley.

She is survived by her children Dennis Simmons (Kim) of Oak Grove MS and Stephanie Sumler (Michael) of Little Rock AR two step kids Bryan Rice (Christie) of Glen Rose AR and Greg Rice of Bald Knob AR. One sister Loretta Blair of Benton AR. Four grandkids, six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 10, 2024 at 9 a.m. at Ashby's Funeral Home followed by services at 10 a.m. with Pastor James Hays. Then burial will be held at New Rosemont Cemetery.

Pallbearers Greg Rice, Bryan Rice, Darryl Buffington, Rick Bentley, Hunter Bentley, and Doug Bynum.
