Paul E. Barnes Jr., age 83, of Benton, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024.  He was born September 8, 1940 in San Francisco, California.  Paul was a Vietnam Airforce Veteran and retired from Alcoa.

He is preceded in death by his father, Paul E. Barnes Sr.; mother, Josephine Daven Hill and her husband George; daughter-in-law, Teresa Collins; and two grandsons, Shane & Levi Collins.

Paul is survived by his wife, Patricia Barnes; four children, Richard Barnes (Denise), Kevin Barnes (Tracey), Leonard Collins (Lisa) and Kayla Cole (Jeff); and one sister, Mary Anne Calkins.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 16 at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Minister will be Becky Darlene Avery.
