Paul Roger Rowan, 88 of Benton, passed away on September 12, 2023.  He was born on August 27, 1935 in Saline County to the late Jewell and Arkie Barnett Rowan.  Paul was retired from the Benton Services Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Flora Rowan and daughter , Deborah Stewart, brother, Charles Rowan and sister, Retha Bodiford.

Paul is survived by his sons, Anthony (Amber) Sims, Paul Rogers, Jerry (Alma)  Gibbs, Larry (Debbie)  Gibbs, Harvey Sims, Clarence Gibbs and Mark (Lisa)  Sims; daughters, Kathy Whitman and Donna Waldrop; , several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023 with Rev. C.L. Abbott officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Harmony Cemetery in Haskell.

Visitation will be at Ashbys, Friday, 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. before services.
