Phillip Marlow Freeman, Sr, 74 passed away from the arms of his darling daughter to the arms of Jesus January 15, 2024. He was born September 13, 1949 in North Little Rock, AR. Phillip served his country through the Air Force in Vietnam.

He was a man with numerous talents. He enjoyed and was good at wood carving and wood burning, painting, drawing, calligraphy, carpentry. He liked to dabble in a little of everything: fishing, scuba diving, deer hunting and his favorite was golf. The first love of his life was music. He breathed music up until his last breath. He was a talented musician and truly enjoyed every genre known to man. He played electric and acoustic guitar, dobro, mandolin, steel guitar, banjo, fiddle, harmonica and drums.

He was preceded in death by his father, Don Freeman, his mother Lillian Freeman, brother, Don A Freeman, nephew Barry Freeman, grandson, Nathan Freeman and his precious stepson, Johnny Clay Richmond.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Kay) Freeman, daughter, Jessica Myers (Chris) sons, Phillip (Marty) Freeman, Jr.(Tessa) John David Freeman (Jennifer), grandchildren, Savannah Anne Marlow Myers, Jessica Ard, Brandon Freeman, Taylor Freeman, Mia Freeman and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Saturday at Ashby's

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Summit Cemetery. Minister will be Rev. Bill Byrd.
