Ralph E Raney, born February 20, 1935, of the Mt View Community went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on September 25, 2025 with his wife, Wilma, and family by his side.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Wilma Faye Raney and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Lorene Raney, sisters Dolores Richards and Barbara Leech, and brother, Robert (Bob) Raney.

Ralph served in the Army and retired from the Benton Water Department. He was a master of many trades. His favorite saying was "If you have enough junk you could build anything". He loved to "project" as he would say. He also loved to oil paint as seen by the many paintings in his house. He loved animals and said he had over 140 cats and dog over the years.

The family would like to thank Dr Mark Martindale and his staff and the Hospice Home Health Team of Chaplin Raymond Cleghorn, Kim, Savannah, Anna, Heather and Kadi for the wonderful heartfelt care he received from each of them.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Wednesday at Ashby Funeral Home with services at 11:00 AM. Chaplin Raymond Cleghorn will officiate.

Pallbearers: Randy Richards, Roger Howard, Ambrose Watts, Larry Watts, Michael Richards, Jack Leech, and Bart Watts.
