Randall "Randy" Wayne Long, age 68, of Bauxite, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 28, 2026.  He was born and raised in Bauxite, Arkansas.  Randy was a nurse for many years.  His weekends were spent playing sports with his kids.  He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, going to the lake, gardening, and fixing things in his shop.  Randy seemed to always have his own way of doing things or as he would call it "thinking outside the box".  He loved his friends and family dearly and will certainly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his dad, James Elroy Long; mom, Freida Mae Long; sister, Carolynn Ann Long; and son, Quincy Mathew Long.

Randy is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Jean Long; brother, Michael Elroy Long; daughter, Courtney Lynn Long; son, James Randall Long; son, Charles Douglass Long and wife Sonya; grandchildren, Ciera, Seth, Dakota, Triston, Whitney, Aiden, Able, Cara, and Madilynn; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 4 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5 at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
