Obituary

Regina Ann Parker, age 65, of Bauxite, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 24, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma.

Born on February 11, 1960, in Little Rock, Gina lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service to others. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and loyal friend. She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Ronnie Parker; her two sons, Ron Parker (Tosha) and Ryan Parker (Ashley); her sister, Robin Sanders (Mike); and her niece, Ali Fowler (Buddy). Gina's legacy continues through her seven grandchildren—Elijah, Weston, Meri, Levi, Wyatt, Walker, and Carys—as well as her great-niece Tinley and great-nephew Jude.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Rada Ann Bryant; and her grandparents, Howard and Gerene Baxley, and Roy and Mae Bryant.

Gina retired from Arkansas Heart Hospital, where she served with excellence and care as a medical coder. But her life was defined far beyond her profession. She loved Jesus wholeheartedly and lived out her faith through music, ministry, and meaningful relationships. For many years, she played the piano and organ at her church, lifting hearts and spirits with every note. She found great joy in shopping, camping, traveling, and spending time at the lake—but her greatest joy was always her family, especially the ones who called her Nana.

A celebration of Gina's life will be held on Saturday, June 28th at Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Benton, Arkansas. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a celebration service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute or Temple Missionary Baptist Church, causes close to Gina's heart.

Gina's life was a testimony of faith, strength, and love. She touched countless lives, and her legacy will continue to shine through those who knew and loved her.
