Richard V. Corley Sr., age 82, of Malvern passed away on June 18, 2025. Born in Malvern, raised in Magnet Cove, and settled in the Lonsdale area. A member of Ten Mile Missionary Baptist and worked till retirement from the Arkansas Health Center. Richard was well liked by all who knew him and his easygoing spirit earned him many lasting friendships. You could always catch him enjoying the outdoors, but spending time with family was highest on his list.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and LaVada (Kemp) Corley; wife, Joyce Corley; sister, Kathy Crawford; brothers, Denny and Russel Corley; sons, Richard Jr. and Shawn Corley; and daughter, Lisa Barron.

Survivors include: daughters, Gail Corley, Kay Henderson; sons, Larry and Stephen Hancock; grandchildren, Kelly Gretencord, Kevin Hancock, Jessica Hill, DeShauna Stell, Devan Poland, Brant Tackett, Jillica Asher, Rachel Spies, Rebecca Powell and Dayton Corley; 15 great grandchildren; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; friend and companion, Pat Davis.

Many thanks to the staff at Encore Healthcare and Rehab in Malvern where Richard has called home and continued making friendships for these last few years.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Pine Crest Cemetery.
