Richard Lee Solomon, 76 of Benton, passed away on April 5, 2023.  He was born on April 18, 1946 in Houston, Texas to the late Lewis Clark and Mary Hope Solomon.  Richard was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great-Grandfather who Served his God, Country, and family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Sue, parents, Lewis and Mary Solomon.

Richard is survived by his brother, Bob Solomon (Linda), David Steel (Linda) , his children, Genie Leigh (Justin Fox), David Clark (PJ Solomon), Paula Jane (Phillip Crow), Stacy Lee, Shawn Lindsey (Tonya Lindsey), and Roy Watkins; Grandchildren Christian Michael, Charlene ,Jonathan David, Calvin Jacob (Andrea Rieck-Solomon), Raija Jo (Marco Campillo), Richard Charles, Madison Emmaleigh ( Scott-Joseph is Wolfe), Allison Clariceleigh;  numerous great grand children that he loved and adored.

Church services by Ashby Funeral  Home will be at Trinity Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 11 ^th at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Mike Titsworth officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Trinity Baptist Church on Monday, April 10 ^th at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
